FREE 30-DAY VIRTUAL CD & ARCHIVING

Included with your session is a 30-day PIN protected Online Gallery and "Virtual CD" allowing you to download your full-sized images directly to your computer’s desktop. You can extend your Gallery/Virtual CD to be permanently active for only $30. That fee also includes cloud archiving of your session so you’ll never lost it.

FAQ

PHILOSOPHY. My work is about portraiture, not caricature. I want the actors I photograph to look like working actors, now actors desperately seeking work. My most beautiful photographs come from adhering to this philosophy, so I don’t waver from it.

VISUAL STYLE. I shoot interesting, creative, dynamically composed photos. Sometimes I crop them off center, or closely. I’m known for how I make eyes stand out. I am masterful at many lighting techniques from natural light to myriad types of studio lighting, to hybrids of natural and studio light. I’m known for making my clients look connected and unposed..

FOR NEW TALENT. I don’t want you to look like a new talent. I want you to look like talent. Shoot for your long game.

STUDIO. I have a beautiful natural light studio in Larchmont Village with studio lighting when needed/wanted. On occasion, I shoot outside.

LOOKS. A look is a single change of wardrobe, or a change to hair and makeup.

DETERMINING WARDROBE & LOOKS: When you book you’ll be sent a lot of information on wardrobe. Look like a working actor. Be dynamic. Wear super interesting necklines. Embrace layers. Be stylish. Come prepared with clothes steamed and ready to go. If you need help, we can refer you to a stylist. I also offer a pre-shoot wardrobe consultation if needed.

SHOOT VIBE. I’m part clown, part coach, part director and part provocateur. Prepare to be challenged. Prepare to be empowered. Prepare to laugh. Prepare to be caught off balance. Prepare to play hard. Prepare to work hard. Mostly, just prepare.

DIRECTION. I find your best angle and direct you as I do actors to get the "character, loook, performance” for the camera that will present you in the most casting-friendly way.

SESSION DURATION.

POLICIES

DEPOSIT: A $150 non-refundable is required to book a session. Please don't book until you are certain you are ready to roll!

BALANCE DUE: Your balance is due at the end of your shoot. We take cash, checks, Apple Pay, Venmo, MasterCard and Visa. Master Card and Visa are subject to a 3% surcharge. We do not take American Express.

RESCHEDULING: We allow rescheduling ONCE with 72 hours (3 business days) notice and you may transfer your deposit one time.. Rescheduling with less than 3-business days notice is considered a cancellation and results in the loss of your deposit. If you must cancel a 2nd time, your deposit will be forfeited.

IF WE RESCHEDULE: If for some reason (other than weather) we have to reschedule, you can receive a discount of $50 off your shoot or you do have the option of canceling and receiving a full refund.

LATE ARRIVALS. If you're late, you will get less shoot time. If you're over 45 minutes late or a no-show, this is considered a cancellation and your deposit is forfeited.

RECEIVING YOUR IMAGES: You'll receive your images within 3 business days of your shoot via a private, Gallery/VIRTUAL CD.

IMAGE DELIVERY: You’ll receive your photos within 5 business days of your shoot. But we usually get them to you much sooner. We give you the original, full-sized, high-resolution images with no watermark.

QUANTITY OF IMAGES: We’ll eliminate “blinks and blurs” and awkward expressions, but generally our clients receive 550+ images.

USAGE: You may use the Images as headshots (printed and online including your website, IMDB), for social media, LinkedIn, on casting sites, your company’s website, and in post cards. For anything else - i.e. publication - please contact us as I retain copyright.

ARCHIVING: We archive your images. But you should download and save your session as you are responsible for saving your files.

MAKEUP: We have makeup artists that have worked with us for years and we are happy to book one for you. You are also welcome to do your own hair/makeup. If you want to bring your own makeup artist to the shoot, let us know at the time of your booking.

RETOUCHING is not included in your shoot fee. We suggest that you retouch. We have great referral retouchers and will give your their info at your shoot.

FOR PARENTS: Even though we do have a CPS permit, for any clients under 18, a parent or legal guardian is required to be present at all times.

ARTISTIC COMPOSITION: Kenneth takes dynamically composed and cropped photos as reflected in our online portfolio. He doesn’t change this style.

A LOOK is a single change of wardrobe, or a single change of hair/makeup, or any combo of the two.

HEADSHOTS vs. MODELING SHOTS: Please note that while we are willing to offer a few 3/4 or full body shots during a headshot shoot, that modeling portfolio shots are not included in headshot sessions. Modeling shoots are booked separately.

RE-SHOOTS & REFUNDS: There are NO re-shoots or refunds for any reasons other than technical issues/malfunctions. No exceptions.
