The Francophile Project is a funny, poignant cinematic series about Amoré’ s fantasy of starting over in France or, failing that, Albania. Less a travel vlog than a serialized self-reinvention comedy, the series hook is not really about the destination per se, but the strange spectacle of watching a woman leave Hollywood and become more herself the farther she gets from the life that deadened her.
